Crop Rotation & Intercropping
Crop rotation and intercropping are two different agricultural practices used to improve crop yields, enhance soil fertility, and promote sustainable farming.
Crop rotation is the practice of growing different crops in the same field in sequential seasons or years. It typically involves a planned and systematic rotation of crops to break pest and disease cycles and improve soil health.
Intercropping is the practice of planting two or more different crops together in the same field simultaneously. These crops can be spatially intermingled or in distinct rows.
